How To Feel Less Stressed This Christmas

Hi Guys,

I think we all know that Christmas isn't always snowflakes and fairies as a lot of us actually find this time of year pretty stressful and I have to admit that this year I've definantly been feeling the stress. Lack of money, lack of time and other things combined can often make you dread this time of year so today I am hoping to give you some tips on how you can manage 'Christmas stress!'

Prepare

I know sometimes this is easier said than done but last year I made sure I began buying presents half way through the year and it definantly stopped me stressing so much. I realise this is too late for people to do now but it is still a great tip to think about next year. Doing this really spreads out the expenses and in general makes you feel more relaxed. I haven't done that this year and I can definantly see how much more stressed I have been compared to last year!

Just make sure you don't forget where you hid the presents! Haha.

Don't Be Afraid To Spend Less Money

I think that most people feel stress around this time of year due to money & lack there of. That's one thing I have for sure found myself worrying about this year. However, I've realised that most people honestly won't mind you spending less on them if you just explain that you simply don't have enough money to splurge. Always remember that Christmas is about spending time with your family and being grateful for each other; the presents are just a little added bonus!

Ask For Help

I don't know about you but my mum always gets mega stressed when doing the Christmas dinner as she has to cook for so many people. If this is you then don't be afraid to ask someone to help you! Even if they're awful at cooking they can still make themselves useful by cutting some potatoes or something! Haha.

Just Try To Enjoy It!

Although Christmas is sometimes super stressful we need to remember that it only comes once a year and no matter how many things go wrong on the day or how many things stress you out try to remember that Christmas is about family time and that's what is most important. Even if you're on your own treat yourself like a king / queen and enjoy yourself!

What tips do you have for feeling less stressed at Christmas? Let me know below!

Lush Christmas Wishlist

Hello loves,

Today I'm going to talk about somewhere that is magical all year round.. but is especially magical at Christmas time! Lush! I bloody love Lush.

I'm so gutted that I haven't had the money or time to purchase everything in the Lush Christmas collection but that doesn't mean I haven't heart eyed at everything on their website. I thought I'd make a little wishlist of things I'd love to try so that you can try them too if you fancy it.

Snow Fairy (Shower Gel)

I have heard so many people get excited and rave over this product that I really am curious to know what all the fuss is about! This product is definantly one I have promised myself I will try eventually!

You can purchase Snow Fairy by clicking here

The Christmas Penguin (Bubble Bar)

I seen this when I popped into their store the other week but it was so busy in there that I didn't have time to take a sniff and i'm so gutted! I remember turning to Karl and being like "SO CUTE!" haha! It's just too cute not to try really, isn't it?

You can purchase the Christmas Penguin by clicking here

Star Dust (Bath Bomb)

Okay, so I did pick up this product last week but it doesn't mean it's not in my wish list because in all honesty... I NEED MORE. I originally picked this up because of the smell - it was so delicious and once I dropped it into the bath it began turning blue and filling my bath with star confetti. I was literally so excited! Haha. I need more. NEED.

You can purchase Star Dust by clicking here

Sugar Plum Fairy (Sugar Scrub)

Even the name of this sounds amazing doesn't it!? Sugar scrubs are my absolute faves so it's no surprise that this is on my wishlist. The colours of this scrub are so amazing and by the description of whats inside it I imagine it smells amazing!

You can purchase the Sugar Plum Fairy by clicking here

Do you have anything you want to try from Lush? Let me know below!

Festive Fun

Hi Guys!

In my 'Christmas Events In Liverpool' post I mentioned that I was going to the DreamWorks event and visiting the Christmas markets. I thought that for today's post I would give you a little review on the day and show you some of the beautiful pictures I took!

The first thing we did was visit the DreamWorks event. For those of you wondering what that is, let me explain. Dreamworks are the creators of movies such as Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, etc. They do an event where they create huge lanterns of the characters and people then pay £10 to see them. Now I must admit it was 100% for kids but as a grown adult with a child's mind I absolutely loved it! Haha. I wouldn't visit again unless I was visiting with a child but it was definantly nice to have the experience of seeing it anyway! Here's some of my favourite pictures.

Afterwards we took a stroll through the Christmas markets and oh my days was I the happiest person ever! Not only did we have amazing food and a nutella hot chocolate I also bought a little buddha to hold my incense in! It got me in the Christmas spirit 100% and I already can't wait to visit again next year!

Have you visited any Christmas events this year!? If so, let me know below!

Helping Your Mental Health

Hi Guys,

I'm a little sceptical about doing this post as i'm well aware this isn't Christmas related but it's still something that I really want to talk about with you guys.

If you read my blog regularly then you'll know that I am always open and honest about where I am at with my mental health. Sometimes I worry people will get bored or uninterested in this topic the more I talk about it but to be honest I know a lot of you who suffer with MH will know that it is a daily struggle so I guess talking about it once or twice a month really isn't that much of a big deal.

Over the past few weeks there's been quite a lot of things that have happened in my personal life. Things I definantly don't want to go into right now. But it's really kicked up a lot of anxiety and depression inside my body and my mind. I'm currently writing this at 7 am while I wait for my doctors to open, I have slept about 7 hours.. maybe less in the past 2 days and I'm honestly drained from head to toe - mentally and physically.

It's difficult because inside my mind is fighting to stay positive and happy while the anxious side of my brain is like NOPE.

However, just before writing this I took Phoebe for a little walk (which was an achievement in itself while my anxiety was high) to clear my mind while the sky was looking beautiful as the sun was just starting to rise. I forced myself to think of all the things that make me happy, all the things that make me glad i'm still alive and I got a bit emotional because there have been so many times in my life where I thought that suicide was the only option for me and I know a lot of you may be thinking the same - which is why I write these types of posts.

A lot of you may of realised that I have really been exploring spirituality over the past few months and I cannot express how much it has helped me over come a lot of issues I had previously. I'm going to go into this in more detail in the new year but for now if this is something you are interested in or you think it can help you then I'll leave links below to two of my favourite YouTube channels that have helped me so much over the past few weeks below.

Koi Fresco - https://www.youtube.com/user/koiscorner
Actualized.org - https://www.youtube.com/user/ActualizedOrg

I want you to know that no matter what you're struggling with today, tomorrow or any other day there is someone else struggling too. You are not alone. Find something that makes you glad you're still alive and hold onto that. Think of how angry you feel when you think of all the times your MH has held you back and promise yourself that it won't happen again. If you're having a day today where you don't want to be alive anymore - think of the times you where glad to be alive and know that there are plenty more of those to come and remember that your past is certainly not your future.

I hope today's post helped you in some way if you are struggling too and don't forget that if you feel like you need someone to talk to I am always here to listen.

Thank you so much for reading,

Vlogmas' I am Watching This December

Hello loves!

As a YouTube addict I get so excited during December when a lot of my favourite YouTubers start to do vlogmas. I'm almost 100% sure all of you will know what that is but if by any chance you don't it is where people film their daily lives everyday through December until Christmas day. So, today I thought I would list some of my favourites that I have been watching so that you can check them out if you're looking for people to watch!

Zoella

Well, this isn't really a surprise is it. Everyone knows i'm a total fangirl for Zoe. Although I do love watching her vlogs anyway I especially love watching her at this time of year as she always makes me feel SUPER festive. If you're looking for someone to watch who can brighten up your day and leave you in the Christmas spirit then Zoe is 100% for you!

You can watch Zoe's videos by clicking riiiiiight here.

Helen Anderson

I'm cheating a little bit here as Helen already does do daily vlogs so i'm not sure if you would count it as 'vlogmas' but I just absolutely love her content so I couldn't leave her out. One of the main reasons I love watching her videos is because she just seems super real and as much as I do love Christmas content I love being able to watch her videos and feel like i'm just living life with her... in the most none creepy way possible. She's also one of the very few people on YouTube that I feel I can relate to completely.

You can watch Helen's vidoes right here.

Grace F Victory

Can I just say how bloody happy I am that Grace is starting to vlog again!? I literally feel like I could listen to her talk all day. I love how open and real she is in her vlogs and again although she isn't super Christmassy in her vlogs I definantly enjoy seeing what she gets up to. She's not afraid to talk about whatever is on her mind and I adore her laugh so much! You need to watch her.

You can watch Grace's videos here.

If I'm 100% honest those are the only vlogmas' I've had time to keep up with this year so i'm super sorry there isn't more but I didn't want to add in people that I wasn't actually watching! If you have any suggestions of people I should watch or people you have been loving this vlogmas then please do leave me a comment below.

Ways To Feel Festive

Hi Guys!

I feel like I've seen and heard so many people saying that they don't feel very festive this year and I have to say that although I'm doing blogmas I still haven't managed to feel very festive either! So today I thought I would let you know some of my favourite tips on how I get myself in the Christmas spirit.

Cosy Nights

Nothing makes me feel more festive than snuggling up with my boyfriend on the sofa, having lots of snacks and watching Christmas films. I think for me Christmas time is family time so whenever I do something like this I immediately feel so happy and excited for Christmas day.

Christmas Markets

Ah, I bloody love Christmas markets. Nothing says festivities like tons of Christmas and lights & amazing food. Again, coming back to family time I recently visited the Liverpool Christmas market with my family and it just put me in the most amazing mood and when I came back home I felt so excited for Christmas. Even if you don't have money to purchase anything from the markets I still think it's really nice to see all of the lights and just have the experience.

Festive Clothing

I love looking at outfits to wear around this time of year. Whether it's a sparkly outfit for a night out or a snug Christmas jumper it all just makes me super happy! I have also really enjoyed looking for little outfits for my dog as she has to have a Christmas jumper, too!

Christmas Party

I love the thought of gathering my friends or family and having a little festive party full of food, alcohol and Christmas songs! It's definantly the perfect chance to throw on a sparkly outfit and have an amazing time.

So, those are some of my favourite things to get myself in the Christmas spirit! What are yours? Let me know below!

Affordable Christmas Gift Ideas For Him

Hey Guys,

I'm back again today with another list of affordable gift ideas. However, this time it is gifts for men! I think we can all agree that it's quite difficult to find the perfect gift for men that is affordable but let me help you out a little bit.

Socks

Okay, so I know this is a pretty boring gift idea but honestly as I get older I feel like I appreciate being gifted socks more and more. (This is because they seem to have mastered the disappearing act and sometimes I just don't fancy spending my own money on socks that aren't even going to last more than one wear) and I know that men feel our pain too! So why not gift them a pair of funky socks. Everyone likes funky & cosy socks.

Wallet (I promise this list gets more exciting)

This may be just me but I more often than not find myself throwing money in the bottom of my bag or in my pockets because I'd rather spend money on food than a new purse. I know some of you are agreeing with me on that and I'm pretty sure some men are, too. So, if there's a man in your life that is also like that then why not treat them to a new wallet to store there change, cards & other wallet things. Go for it!

Gift Set

I know for a fact that ladies are not the only ones who love a good gift set. I was asking my brother before about this and he said that although he loves using the products he never really goes out of his way to buy skin care products as he only really uses them if they are a gift to him. I know that most of us women and men know how important it is to look after your skin. So why not buy him a little set of goods to pamper himself with.

Rechargable batteries

This one is for those of you who have a man in your life that is a gamer. My boyfriend is always using his for his controller & headphones. If they play games often then this is a gift that will definantly come in handy for them!

Voucher

I mentioned this one in my 'Gift Ideas For Her' post, too. If there is something that they buy quite often then vouchers always come in handy on the months when money is running low and you run out of deodorant or something like that. Although they aren't going to bring you to tears when you unwrap them, everyone knows vouchers are always a win!

Gadgets

I have to credit Helen Anderson for this idea. I watched her recent vlog (which you can watch too by clicking here) and she spoke about a website called Firebox which she mentioned had lots of cool gadgets. As a gadget lover myself I immediately searched for them and discovered they have a whole 'Gifts For Him' section that is just full of super cool gadgets for men and I screamed a little inside (mainly because I wanted them all) but because I also found lots of amazing gifts I could buy for Karl on there. Take a look - you won't be disappointed.

Mugs

I absoloutley love finding unique mugs for people for Christmas. I have no idea why but I feel like they always come in handy to take to work and they're something that they can use often. Obviously you would cater what type of mug to get depending on what the person likes!

I hope this post has given you a few gift ideas! What where your favourites? Let me know below!

Affordable Christmas Gift Ideas For Her

Hey Guys!

Now, as you may of noticed from my 'Being Honest' post (which you can read here) I'm on a super low budget for gifts this year so I thought that I would help some of you out that are on a budget too by showing you some super affordable gift ideas. As you can tell by the title this one is going to be gift ideas for women - if you where looking for ideas for men then do not fear; that one is coming tomorrow.

Hot Chocolate & Mug Set

I think most ladies can agree that cute cups and hot chocolates are one of the best things for a cold night. I always purchase these type of gifts for my mum as I know she loves hot drinks so this gift can also be a good one if your running out of ideas for your in laws or parents!

New Look Fragrances

I absolutely adore the perfume selection at New Look. I purchased one for myself a few months back and I still have more than half of the bottle left so don't be deceived by how small they are. Not only do they all cost less than £13 they smell delicious. You can see them by clicking right here.

Make Up Bag

If you're searching for a gift for someone who is into make up then this is the perfect idea. As someone who has a huge collection of make up I definantly appreciate having multiple make up bags so that I can keep my make up as organised as possible.

Gift Voucher

I love getting gift vouchers for Christmas as there will definantly come a point throughout the year when it comes in handy. You know those months when you're absolutely skint and your favourite foundation runs out? Those are the moments a gift voucher feels like a gift from God. Even if you can only afford to pop £5-£10 on the card it's still money off of whatever they are planning to purchase! Win!

Candles

I know that candles vary in price and can be pretty expensive sometimes. However, you can always find those ones that are super cheap but look and smell amazing. I always purchase the little £1 mini Yankee Candles as I have a cute holder for them. They can look just as cute as the ones in the jar if you pair them with a cute (but affordable) candle holder!

Slippers

I think one of my favourite things about coming home from a long day in work is putting on my slippers; especially after being on my feet all day. If you know someone who works long days or just loves slippers in general then this would be the perfect gift for them!

Eye Shadow Palette

I purchased this exact Make Up Revolution eye shadow palette a long time ago and it's still one of my favourites - retailing at £4; YES YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY. The colours are absolutely stunning (especially the shimmer ones) and they have so much pigment. I've never had a problem with mine fading throughout the day and it's definantly a palette that it worth more than £4! You can take a look at the palette by clicking here.

I'm going to wrap this post up here guys. If you have any more ideas or you're thinking of purchasing any of these ones let me know below!

Travelling For Christmas

Hello loves!

As much as I love spending Christmas at home surrounded by my family I can't deny that the thought of seeing what Christmas is like in other places excites me so much. I'd love to one day experience Christmas somewhere else so today I thought I would tell you my top 3 destinations where I would love to spend over the holidays!

*None of these images are mine and I take no credit at all. If you click the image you will be directed straight to the page I got the image from!*

Berlin (Christmas market)

About 2 years ago I was going to book a little trip away with my family before Christmas to go and visit the Berlin Christmas markets. I seen images of them online and immediately was shocked at how beautiful and festive it was! Christmas markets are one of my favourite things about this time of year and I definantly plan on visiting there in the future.

Austria

I've wanted to visit Austria in general for a long time anyway because it looks like such a beautiful place in general but could you imagine how amazing it would look decorated with festive goodness!? I need that in my life! I definantly think that if I don't end up visiting Austria for a Christmas break I will definantly visit anytime of the year because it's so stunning!

Edinburgh

I have to admit that after watching Zoella's vlogs of her and her family in Edinburgh (which you can watch by clicking here) I immediately wanted to go. It looks so incredibly festive during December and has such a beautiful Christmas market and you guys know I love a good Christmas market as I feel I have mentioned 2065 times! Haha!

So that's it for my places to visit at Christmas time! Let me know where you would like to spend the holidays below!

Top 5 Christmas Songs

Hey guys!

Now i'll be honest here and tell you that working in retail over the years has completely killed all of my love for Christmas songs because they are played so much over the holidays it drives me crazy!

That being said it doesn't mean i'm not partial to blasting a bit of 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' and dancing like a melon so today I have decided that I would tell you 5 Christmas songs that don't make me want to chop my ears off - woohoo!

1. Shakin' Stevens - Merry Christmas Everyone

Well what an absolute tune this is. I love how upbeat and happy this song is & whenever it comes on I always find myself feeling super festive and excited which is all you want in a Christmas song, isn't it!?

2. Bing Crosby & David Bowie - The Little Drummer Boy

I have always loved this song but this year I love it even more because it reminds me of my Grandad. This will always be a song that brings back lots of happy memories at Christmas time with him & for that I am grateful.

 3. Slade - Merry Christmas Everybody

This song always reminds me of being at primary school disco's at Christmas time & it still gives me the same excitement as it did back then! Haha! If you don't sing this song at the top of your lungs then you're doing something wrong!

4. Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday

This is another song that reminds me of feeling really excited as a child. I did actually used to wish it was Christmas everyday... not so much anymore... It's bloody expensive! Haha.

5. Paul McCartney - Wonderful Christmas Time

What kind of scouser would I be if I didn't include Paul McCartney in this list!?

No, i'm kidding. I do love this song SO much though. Definantly one that gets everyone up dancing and feeling super duper festive!

What are your favourite Christmas songs? Let me know below!

Top 4 Christmas Films

Hey Guys!

I thought I would do this post quite early in the month because I know how much fun it is snuggling up and watching Christmas movies during the build up to the big day so let's just jump straight into it, shall we?

1. An All Dogs Christmas Carol

Okay I know what you're all thinking.. but Katie.. I'm not 5 years old? Honestly, I've never got over my obsession with this film. I used to watch it all through the year when I was a child because I loved it so much! LOL.

But honestly for those of you who may have toddlers this is definantly a film I suggest watching with them. It's super festive but it also has an amazing story line behind it that will keep you entertained throughout. It also involves lots of dogs... enough said.

2. Home Alone 2: Lost In New York

I think everyone will of probably seen this movie. Although this one is super festive it also has comedy in it which would be great for a family gathering. I think I've watched this movie every Christmas & I never get bored of it. It's for sure a Christmas classic.

3. The Holiday

I can't even count how many times I have watched this movie. If you're a lover of rom com's then this one is for you!

If you don't like anything that's over the top festive then I suggest this film to you. Although the movie is based at Christmas time the main focus of the story isn't on Christmas so you still get the festive goodness without it being over the top! Super good movie for a girly night in with a big glass of wine.

4. Elf

Oh you know I wasn't about to do a Christmas film list without including Elf!

I'm pretty sure everyone will of seen this movie but if you haven't & you love over the top super festive movies then this one is for you! It has great humour in it and is also another Christmas classic.

What are your favourite Christmas movies? Let me know in the comments below!

Christmas Events In Liverpool 2016

Hello guys!

Today I thought I would do a little list of things that you can do over the Christmas period. As I live in Liverpool the events will be based here so I'm sorry this post doesn't really cater for everyone!

*The pictures featured in this post are not my own. If you click on the pictures you will be directed to where the pictures are originally from*

Dreamworks Light Lanters

I've actually booked tickets to go to this event tomorrow so I am planning on writing a review post afterwards but I am honestly so excited for it. This event is based in St George's Hall in Liverpool City Centre and is running from 26th November until 15th of January at £10 a ticket.

So, what actually is this event?

I'm sure you're all aware of Dreamworks. However, if not they are an american film production label that produces animated films. (such as Madagascar, Shrek, etc,)

They are bringing to Liverpool giant light up lanterns of each character and it honestly gives me all the Christmas feels. I think this would be amazing for those who want to do something festive with children - I know I would of loved to see something like that as a child!

Liverpool Ice Festival

This event is located at the Pier Head and is running from the 12th of November until the 3rd of January. I feel that this event is also catered for both adults and children.

So, what does the event include?

It includes an ice rink, ice slide and an ice bar. How exciting!? We're thinking of visiting here for my sisters birthday this month so if we do I will be sure to write a review for you guys!

Liverpool Christmas Market

One of my favourite things about Christmas are the markets. They make me feel so festive and not to mention the amazing food they always have at them!

This event is running from the 18th of November until the 22nd of December. The market has 40 stalls in total and includes things like food, art, etc. Super fun!

Liverpool One

From the 10th of November until the 3rd of January Liverpool One will be showing off their huge Christmas tree and crazy Christmas lights & animations.

This is super pretty and would be a great day out to get you in the festive spirits!

What event would you go to? Are there any good ones in your area? Let me know in the comments!

Snowing Shortbread

Hello loves,

Today's post is going to be a super simple post on how to make these cute little chocolate 'covered in snow' short breads. This is something you could easily do with children or for your self and will only take a few moments to do!

Things you will need:

Shortbread (You could make your own by finding a recipe online. However, I just used the ones from the packet!)
200g Chocolate of your choice (Add more chocolate if you are making more than 8)
Icing Sugar

First of all you want to break your chocolate up into little squares and place them into a glass bowl.

After this you want to boil some water in the kettle. Once that has boiled pour the water into a pan and set the glass bowl on top. Turn the stove on and let the water continue to boil.

After a very short while your chocolate should start to melt and once it has completely melted remove the bowl off of the pan and now it's time for the fun part! Woohoo!

Resist trying to eat all of the melted chocolate with a spoon. I know, it's hard.

You want to take your shortbread and dip it into the chocolate; covering all of it but the bottom.

After doing this set all of your chocolate covered short breads in the fridge to cool down. They should be hard after around 30 mins.

Once the chocolate it completely hard you then want to start to sprinkle them with the icing sugar to give the effect of snow! And there you go! All done and ready to eat. Simple & delicious.

I hope you enjoyed this post & thank you so much for reading. If you make these please tweet me a picture @KatieEllen201.

See you tomorrow!

Non Alcoholic Christmas Drinks

Hey Guys!

Today's post is for those of you who aren't a fan of alcohol or if you just generally want to be more healthy this holiday season.

I decided that I'm going to give you two recipes of nothing but fruit & veg that you can pop in a juicer and make some delicious drinks! I made one red & one green as they are always the colours that spring to my mind during the Christmas season. Ofcourse you can add decorations to the drink to make them more festive if you would like!

These ingredients are to only make one glass of juice. If you would like more add as much of each ingredient as you wish.

Let's start with the red juice, shall we?

What you will need:

1 Medium Beetroot
1 Cucumber
Cup Of Blueberries
Handful of Rocket
Handful of Spinach

And for the green juice you will need:

2 Apples
1 Orange
2 Handfuls of Kale
1 Handful of Spinach
1/2 Pineapple

I'm going to be fully honest and say that I wasn't very fond of the red juice as I didn't think it was sweet enough for me. However, if you taste it and think the same you can always add some pineapple or orange to make it more sweet!

Let me know in the comments if you would try these out!

Christmas Jumper Wishlist

Hey guys!

We all know that for most of us a massive part of Christmas is heart eyeing over every festive jumper we can find and I am not ashamed to admit that I am one of those people so today I have decided to show you a few Christmas jumpers that are on my wishlist this December!

I would just like to add that obviously none of these pictures where taken by me I just grabbed them off of the websites as I was browsing through. If you would like to purchase the item just click on the pictures as I have linked them to their website.

1.

I don't think there's anything I don't love about this Asos jumper! Not only does it look super cosy I love the fact it still has a girly touch to it even though it's still super festive. If I had to choose one from this list then this one would definantly be it because I am a liiiiiittle bit obsessed.

2.

This one from H&M made me squeal a little bit. Not only is it clever & funny but it has a dog on and i'm sold to anything that involves cute dogs at Christmas. HOW ADORABLE!?

3.

I did want to include different Christmas jumpers from different stores but I just had to include another one from Asos. I absolutely love the subtle detail on this and it's one that you could wear throughout all of December & just winter in general. I adore this one so much.

4.

Okay, so i'm pretty sure that this one is for males but hey, some men might read my blog so this ones for you! (I also can't be the only one who prefers men's jumpers so this is also for the ladies, too!)

I found this browsing through the topshop website and I just love how adorable it is. Nothing says Christmas like multiple ginger bread men.. am I right!?

5.

This little New Look number has all the Christmas feels doesn't it!? I loved this one because it remind me of all the things I love about this time of year. I adore the way it has all the festive colours on it and I'm obsessed with the little penguins! Too cute.

Which one is your favourite? Let me know in the comments below!

A Different Christmas

Hello guys!

Today's post is going to be more of an open and honest post about my feelings towards Christmas this year as a lot of things have changed since this time last year.

I'm honestly nervous for Christmas this year. I know that sounds a little strange but let me explain why.

Pretty much since I was born my Christmas has always had the same routine. I'd wake up early, open presents, have breakfast and then my dad would come around for 2 hours or so and then after he would leave we would all rush to get ready & head to my Grandads to start Christmas dinner. After we had eaten we would gather on the sofa around the TV and watch anything festive and just enjoy each others company until it was time to go home.

This year things are a little different.

You may or may not have seen that around 2 weeks before Christmas last year my Grandad passed away and I feel like only now that we're trying to decided where we are having dinner has it hit me that this year isn't going to be all as exciting as it used to be and i'm honestly struggling with that so much.

I wanted to write this to remind you to cherish every moment you have with your family this Christmas because a year is a long time and so many things happen between December - December that this time next year things could be totally different. I know presents and food are always the things we look forward to on Christmas day but please don't forget to take a little moment to cherish the people around you.

Although I am super sad that I won't be spending this Christmas with my Grandad I am grateful that wherever we have dinner this year I know I will be with my family and I guess that's all that really matters in the end.

Welcome To Blogmas!

Hey guys!

So, as you can tell by the title I have decided that this year I am going to do blogmas which is where you post every day through December until Christmas day. I have to say i'm super nervous about this because I get so anxious when I put pressure on myself but I've decided to push myself and do it anyway.

I was going to leave a little list of things you can expect from me over blogmas but I've decided not to because if all goes to plan I should have some pretty exciting posts this month that I want to surprise you with so I will keep my plans a secret for now!

I'm going to keep this intro short & sweet so we can jump straight into the festivities instead of listening to me blabber on. I hope that throughout this month I can pop some festive feels into you and we can enjoy the build up to Christmas together!

Have a beautiful day & thank you for reading,
