Taking A Break

I feel like it's been so long since I last wrote a blog post so I kind of got the jitters before writing this. It's always nerve racking coming back to something you took a break from but I am so glad I'm finally sitting down and writing this.

The past couple of weeks have been quite hectic. It was my 21st birthday on the 26th of April and then me and Karl jetted off to Lanzarote on the 30th for a week! Lucky me, eh!? But now that I'm back at home and work it feels like my holiday is nothing but a distant memory so I want to revisit some of my favourite holiday moments in a blog post - KEEPING THE DREAM ALIVE!

So, first of all I should probably mention that I hate everything about the preparation for going on holiday as I turn into an anxious mess and I'm not very keen on flying either - but hey I'll do anything to get myself away from here for a while and who can deny the beautiful views you can only see from that high!

Although I love relaxing on holiday I was so keen to do some fun things and I must say that my highlight of the holiday was visiting Lanzarote's rancho park! I got to see so many beautiful little animals, come face to face with a huge tiger & gawp over all the turtles.

I fucking love turtles so much. LOOK AT HIM.

So after hyperventilating over turtles and seeing a tiger close enough to nibble on my head it was definantly time for some beach relaxation! Although I love sight seeing and adventuring, nothing really beats a good ole' lazy beach day!

I feel like going on holiday is exactly what I needed. Sometimes it's nice to forget your worries at home and delve into the unknown; and even have adrenaline rushes from running into the sea when you can't swim... oh... is that just me? Soz.

I hope you guy's enjoyed this little trip down (what feels like) memory lane! I also done a vlog of our holiday which you can watch by clicking right HERE

Have an amazing day & thank you for reading!
